The Report Card Fixer ~ DarthSpielberg
Bill had just gotten off the bus. Being in school was a major drag for him. He wasn't good at a lot of his classes and his parents would kill him when they saw the report card in his hand. He had to make sure they didn't find out what he was really getting. He had a long walk home from the bus stop and as he walked he passed the electronics store that had been there for ages he saw an interesting machine on display. "The Report Card Fixer 200X"
He was interested from the moment e laid eyes on it. He went in and asked how much.
"Hmm," said the clerk "Five Dollars. I don't know how much the manager wants for it but I don't think he will mind, seeing as it is just a toy."
That somewhat disappointed Bill but he took it home anyway and went to his room. He placed in on the table and plugged in. He then pressed on.
"Hello" it said "Welcome to the Report Card 200X. I am here to make sure what ever wrong that was done to you through your report card. Pleas insert finger for print analysis. We must make sure that you are you so that no injustices are caused by the theft of yours or anybody else’s card."
He placed his finger in the slot provided and the machine said "Scanning, please wait...Name: Bill Halen Age: 16 School: Wells High School. Please insert the report card."
He did and the machine made a whirring noise. It then made a flashing light and Bill felt all tingly. Then it all went black. When Bill could see again he noticed thing were a bit bigger. He then looked at his hands; they were smaller and chubbier as were his feet. He found himself falling down because he was now ONE YEARS OLD “What?” he screamed.
The machine answered him by saying “In exactly 15 years your grades will be what they should have been. Study Hard, Billy!”
It then started to smoke and fall apart. Suddenly Bill forgot everything he knew. He was now a real one year old.
“Billy, time for your nap” his mommy said from the next room.
“What?!” Screamed the Manager “We have to find that machine. It could cause a major disaster. It could destroy…adulthood!”
